Despite my bitter disagreements about how the mayor and his colleagues were successful, despite the scandals that I've had. I have lived I always have the courage to complain, despite the fact that those who took responsibilities have changed the line of a political body to an amateur exchange of titles, I have continued to what I considered a decent attitude of responsibility. I kept working by believing that with effortless effort I could offer something for the benefit of my colleagues. But the incompetence of those who make sing, lick and create intrigues and because of the inability and indifference of the mayor have taken key positions of responsibility he overcame
They were completely stripped of the worst place. As predicted for our other national tragedy, the poet, unfortunately, is always up to date. I never felt that my position as councilor made me different from everyone, unlike many "colleagues" who suddenly felt "planners". The phrase I heard at the last city council: "It's war, and we (the citizens) and you (the municipal authority)" lambasted me! I could never think that I would be an enemy for my fellow citizens, my friends, my own people, because of the inability of others.
I did not even imagine in my worst nightmare that things would come to this tragic end. I have had and I am deeply aware that politics and administration are not to make sure you hold a title and get the salary. The administration is a job. Hard work. These are people who trust their lives and their well-being
This trust has been wildly betrayed by the mayor and the people who have chosen to place themselves in key leadership positions. social media, but serious planning in advance, both smooth and extreme. They have never done that, and today we mourn the loss of human lives.
I am angry. I can not accept that these people, first and foremost the mayor and his grooms, continue to run my city and that they will handle such a crisis when they fail to spoil it or diminish it. I can no longer be considered an official member of this circus, responsible for the tragedy we all experience. Our life, our place has changed, not our promise when we have badumed responsibilities, under the responsibility of the mayor and his badociates.
There are serious responsibilities for both what has happened and what is happening now. The deputy mayor of civil protection is responsible for what happened tragically Monday. He is responsible to the families who cry for losses. The president of KEDMA is responsible for the chaos created there. His answer, to entrust the "coordination" to a "specialist" who is already overwhelmed by a half-marathon failed and long. And the mayor has the main responsibility for everything! Our fellow citizens do what they can, they are organized and they work. And their initiatives go as far as to address the municipality for anything. And there, they fall on a wall. People who "manage" can not make any decisions, can not support any action, they are only an obstacle to action. The answers given by the volunteers are characteristic, they shake their heads whenever it is necessary to contact a person with a municipality "responsible"
But these are also the frightened faces of these same "municipal authorities" – Minos of Psinakis at the extraordinary meeting of the city council. Frustrated looks under the weight of their blame and the anger of the world
It goes without saying that I can no longer be part of this circus. Because I have to choose between those who can not fulfill their responsibilities and the volunteers who truly do selflessly and do what needs to be done in this difficult time. I think that choice is self-evident, as it has always been for me.
I am with those who struggle, trying to "save what is saved", with those who give hope through the ashes.
I am with those who have all these days shared pains, works, anxieties that may before we are just friends, known but now it joins us now much deeper, than only the people having lived the same tests include. And I'm sure we'll be together and tomorrow where it's needed.
In my letter, I also expressly declare my independence from the "POLITE" party of Elias Psinakis. I remain an independent city councilor and will continue to offer my services on my behalf and, of course, to be and help those hard times wherever I want, in the stations that have been created, in the streets, where my constituents need it. Where is my physical place, where I am my own people, where I can live, offer, breathe. Where I belong. That's the least I can do.
