Antisemitic stereotypes are well preserved on the old continent, while the memory of the Holocaust of Europeans is weakening alarmingly.
The results of the survey show that nearly one in four Europeans think Jews have a great influence on the war in the world.
One in five say they affect the media and politics too much.
At the same time, Europeans are forgetting the Holocaust.
One-third says that he knows little or nothing about the Holocaust.
About one in 20 old European citizens have never heard of Nazi atrocities in concentration camps, while tens of thousands of Holocaust survivors are still alive.
The lack of knowledge about the Holocaust is particularly striking among French youth: one in five, aged 18 to 34, says they have never heard of the Holocaust.
The survey was conducted by Pollster ComRes for CNN. It was conducted with a sample of over seven thousand people across Europe, with more than a thousand people surveyed in Austria, France, Germany, Great Britain, in Hungary, Poland and Sweden.
