From January 2015 to October 2018, Mr. Pavlopoulos was adviser to Alexis Tsipras for European Affairs and Head of the Office of the Prime Minister for European Affairs and International Relations.
According to his summary, Panagiotis Pavlopoulos was born in 1962 in Thessaloniki. He graduated from Le Continio Lyceio of Patision. He studied economics in the United States, at the University of Minnesota (B.A) and at the University of America (MA). He attended the International Economic Policy Studies Program of the Institute of World Economics in Kiel, Germany. He is a permanent employee of the Greek Parliament, within the European Affairs Division.
Since 2011, he has been adviser on European issues of the president of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras. From January 2015 to October 2018, he was head of the Prime Minister's European Affairs and International Relations Division. He speaks English and French. She is the father of two boys.
