Twenty years after starting his engagement with the team he came from, Kostas Katsouranis has retired from the Patras club.
Referring to the reason for his resignation unlike philosophy with the other leaders of Panachaiki and speaking of the absence and basis for the daily routine of the team, the 2004 Greek ex-champion with the Hellenic National Republic thanked the world of Patras for its support. asked to continue to support her.
"A third national championship, a 3rd place, a 2nd national team, a dynamic team full of perspectives, a lot of work, a field filled after many years, an elegant Greece to face our team and many promises unfortunately no held for me.Everything happened in two and a half years.
I have badumed responsibility for the race divisions of the team with the badurance of the shareholders (all known by their previous statements) of the support plan accepted by all so that we can build the PANACHAIKI that the city deserves to avoid the mistakes of the past that led to depreciation.
The world of PANACHAIKIS since the first day was a supporter of this effort, the love and pbadion of all those people that I fully respected. With all the supplies that were offered to us, we worked with my colleagues using every moment and every day to address this plan.
Having a life story to say on their behalf before the start of the season at the press conference, I captured the reality of the situation because I lived with it, hoping that it will bring solutions to the problems that we have accompanied during these years and who were certain would be an obstacle to the achievement of our objectives.
The team's daily routine consisted of a road race aimed at finding the minimum necessary to function as a normal club. And often we could not have one, like a training ground or a rudimentary gym in our stadium.
The difference in philosophy was more than obvious and, along with the economic problems, they created a dysfunctional environment.
But the moment of decision always comes and everyone has to bear the cost to remain optimistic in the fantasy world of Patras. As far as I am concerned today, I am resigning from my position as technical director, if we want this change to activate those who can really help our team.
I would like to thank the shareholders for the opportunity they offered me to serve the football club, especially MM. Parriko Georgakopoulos, Socrates Ofridopoulos, Kyriakopoulos Takis, Elias Kyriakidis, Fotis Papapanagi and all those who worked in the football section and in our academies, the administrative staff, NOS FOOTBALLERS and a big thank you to the healthy and unbalanced fans of our team who gave us followed at the end to the edge of Greece, support the team and give an example of behavior.
SUPPORT OUR TEAM AND EVERYTHING WE START TWO YEARS!
Sincerely, Kostas Katsouranis ".
