Philippe Zdar de Cassius killed – Tragic death in Paris for DJ and music producer

Philippe Cerboneschi (also known as Zdar) of Cbadius, died Wednesday in Paris at the age of 50, announced his agent.

"He accidentally fell from the window of a high-rise building in a Parisian building," said Sebastien Farran, without giving further details about the death conditions of the famous DJ and dance music producer. "His friends share the immense sadness of his family, and tonight the music has lost a genius," he added.

Cerboneschi created Cbadius with Hubert Blanc-Francard (known as Boombbad) in 1996. Together they collaborated with bands and musicians such as Phoenix, Beastie Boys, Franz Ferdinand and MC Solaar. The famed music producer and producer won a Grammy Award for Phoenix's "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" album, released in 2009, while working at Franz Ferdinand's Motorbbad Studio in Robyn.

In addition to his work at Cbadius, Zdar also participated in the production of numerous independent and electronic music pieces, including "United" and "Bankrupt!" From Phoenix, "Bright Like Neon Love" from Cut Copy. Sun "from Cat Power and more.

Zdar established itself in the music industry in the 1990s as part of the legendary influential French scene. The 1999 Cbadius album marked their success, with the song of the same name being number 7 in the United Kingdom and 8 in the United States. Philippe Cerboneschi is described as "champion of French Touch sound and electronic music".

Cbadius' debut album "Dreems", due out on Friday, marks the 20th anniversary of their legendary debut in 1999.
