EL.AS. after several months of research managed to unravel the action of two large-scale self-organized criminal organizations that smuggled gold throughout Greece and exported to Turkey.
The gold they traded came from cast jewelry of unknown origin, books and other valuables held through purchases and pledges, and there is some evidence that some of them were proceeds of crime.
