Serious damage from heavy rainfall in Lesbos

The strong storms that have swept Lesvos for a few hours have created problems in the road network and require great attention.

The damage caused by the heavy rainfall on Wednesday night in Lesbos was caused. According to the oldest data, part of the sidewalk was destroyed in the plain of Geras and especially at the entrance to the village of Palaiokipos after the overflow of a river.

In addition, damage was reported in the village of Plagia in the Plomari region and rock spills in the Kavaki area on the Petra-Molyvos road in northern Lesbos.
