Rapper McMillre, former companion of pop star Ariana Grande, has died from an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl, a potent opioid, the Los Angeles County Medical Service announced.
Miller, 26, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Sept. 7. The forensic examination revealed that his death was not due to a criminal act but to an accident.
Miller had spoken openly about his drug addiction, the interviews he had given and his songs. He was a couple with Grande for two years, but they separated early in the year. His death is thought to be one of the factors in Grande's separation from his new partner, Pitt Davidson, with whom he got engaged in June.
On Saturday, the singer presented her new song, "Thank U, Next", dedicated to both men.
Davidson, age 24, said, in his first statements about their separation, that he "does not concern anyone" and described Mr. Grande as "a wonderful man", wishing all the happiness of the world.
