A man lost his life, many buildings were destroyed and hundreds of people were forced to leave their communities because of the great fire that is raging in California on the border of Oregon in the USA.
California Governor Jerry Brown declared the area in a state of emergency
The Clamaton fire broke out on Thursday and, in a few hours, spread on a area of about 32,000 acres, according to the Department of Forests and Fires
It is not known how many buildings were burned. The authorities kidnapped the residents of Hornbrook, Hilt and Collin Valley, while the flames crossed Interpolite 5, near the border of California and the state of Oregon
This fire is the only one of its kind. 39 of the 30 at least have struggled in recent days, not only in California, but also in other parts of the western United States. Firefighters' attempts to control them are made more difficult by high temperature, low humidity and constantly changing winds
