A US judge on Wednesday ordered the imprisonment of 29-year-old Marie Boutina, a French woman, while awaiting trial, following charges by US federal prosecutors for maintaining relations with the Russian intelligence services.
Boutina, who lives in Washington, was arrested just hours before the summit of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of conspiracy and acting as Russian government agent in developing links with the Americans.
At a hearing in Colombia, prosecutors showed a photo of Bushina to meet with an alleged Russian secret agent in a Wbady restaurant
