As reported in a tweet, YouTube is loading 5 times slower on Firefox and Edge after the latest redesign of the service (Polymer), which was based on the Shadow DOM v API which is only available on the Chrome browser. As a solution, he suggests to install the YouTube Clbadic extension in the Firefox browser that restores the previous design of the service and Tampermonkey in the Edge browser for the same reason
.It is interesting, however, that Microsoft did not officially react problem, although in the past it was targeted by the Chrome browser. For one, no one can blame Google because it uses its technologies to provide a better user experience.
