“Paparazzi followed me 2 in a photoshoot so I tried 2 to think about what I could do that would produce the most onion-free track possible and it worked haha”, Grimes wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

On Instagram, Grimes hinted at reports of her split, giving “full disclosure”, writing that she “is still living with” Musk. “And I’m not a communist (although there are some very clever ideas in the book …),” she added.

In late September, Musk told the New York Post that he and Grimes “are half estranged but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on very good terms.” The two will continue to co-parent their 1-year-old son, X Æ A-XII, Musk told the publication.

As for his distant gaze, Grimes wrote on Twitter Sunday: “I’ve taught myself to stop checking to see if other people think I’m socially acceptable a long time ago.
