If you forget the cranberry sauce or need to stock up on milk on Thanksgiving Day, don’t despair.

Some grocery stores, drugstore chains and most major convenience stores will be open Thursday for last minute groceries.

But beware: more stores will be closed Thursday than this year, and open stores will operate with reduced hours.

With coronavirus cases soaring across the country, several retailers have turned the tide as Thanksgiving sales open for Black Friday. Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Macy’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Best Buy are among the stores that will be closed.
