Maybe that’s why in late December footage of a mod that inserts Cell from Dragon ball z in GTA 5Story mode has exploded on social media. Many fans marveled at this modern GTA 5 The mods don’t just make cosmetic changes, but also add bespoke voice lines to make the scenes work with the new characters.
Since then, there has been an increase in videos featuring mods that reimagine the scene above, where Lamar twists Franklin for his ugliness. For example, here is the rendering of the roast by YouTube user Daymon, rendered as if it were a scene from a Japanese role-playing game. Person 5.
It goes beyond TV shows or video games – you can also see characters from movies, like Scarface, berating Franklin now.

The examples are nearly endless, which makes sense, as fans consider the scene to be an iconic scene in the game. Technically, people have been modifying this scene for a long time now, but interest in the roast presentation has exploded again over the course of last month. Enough time has passed for fans to start folding the meme in a surreal, fun way, as just seeing a new face destroy Franklin just isn’t enough now. We’re now at the meta point of this meme.
