GTA 6 is currently in development, insider confirms

An insider has revealed that GTA 6 is currently in development, however, fans may have to wait longer than expected.

The news front on Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently very rare, with very little knowledge about the project or whether it will be available soon.

GTA 5 continues to be a hugely profitable game for Rockstar. GTA Online is one of the most popular multiplayer experiences to date.

Although a potential GTA 6 teaser was uncovered in a recent trailer, Rockstar is very tight-lipped on the progress of rumors about the next episode.

According to a leading insider, GTA 6 is currently in development, but it’s far from ready.

GTA 6 has been rumored to have been in development for some time. An insider named Yan2295 could confidently say this was the case.

The game, which is said to be in development for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, has yet to make an appearance despite fans’ excitement and anticipation.

According to Yan2295, GTA 6 is currently under development. The game, however, is a long way off, Yan Twitter notes regarding GTA 6:

As is often the case, details regarding games currently in development are sparse and vague.

The Rockstar Games insider has confirmed that GTA 6 is in development, however, Yan also implies that any news is likely very far away.

After all, right now, Rockstar is currently focusing on the ‘Extended and Improved’ version of Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 5.

It seems unlikely that we will see GTA 6 in 2021, given that the GTA 5 remaster will arrive in the second half of this year.
