A major GTA Online cheat website has shut down after “talks” with publisher Take-Two.
LunaCheats, a popular site that sells GTA Online hacks, now contains a single message informing visitors that it has removed its cheat menu services and has ceased all maintenance and development.
The website said it would donate its profits to a charity chosen by Take-Two.

“We apologize for any problems our software has caused the Grand Theft Auto Online community,” the post read.
GTA Online has always had an issue with hackers and modders on PC, but it is believed that the problem escalated when multiplayer was made free to download from the Epic Games Store in May 2020.
Hackers and modders disrupt public lobbyists in a variety of ways, including spawning hundreds of vehicles, such as airplanes, which in turn crash servers. They can even trap players in cages.
Take-Two, of course, faces a tall order in taking out cheating from GTA Online. It’s an issue that faces all online game developers, with Call of Duty: Warzone publisher Activision under pressure to beef up battle royale anti-cheat.
