The Hop Park returns to Walt Disney World in 2021. Customers can attend their first park of the day with a Disney Park Pass reservation, then change parks after 2 p.m. Unfortunately, customers visiting Disney Studios in Hollywood will not be able to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
As Disney said in a press release:
And, to help us manage attendance, when the Park Hopper option returns in January, only customers with a Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to experience it. Star wars: Rise of the Resistance – Visitors to another theme park will not be able to request to join the virtual queue.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boarding groups are currently distributed at 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., when the parks jump will begin each day. Many guests had asked us if arriving near the 2:00 p.m. boarding group distribution time would give them a chance to score a comeback time for Rise of the Resistance that day, but sadly that’s not a option. Customers who frequent Disney’s Hollywood Studios as their first park of the day with a Disney Park Pass will still be able to try out a group boarding at these times.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance recently updated its group boarding procedure to open at 7:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m., but of course the system continues to experience issues.
