During the anniversary edition of October 6 of Dynamite in Philadelphia. Sammy Guevara survived a challenge from Bobby Fish to retain his newly won TNT title.
He didn’t have a chance to celebrate, however.
The men of the year and the best American team showed up and surrounded the ring. The champion’s best friend, Fuego Del Sol, tried to make the save, but he was no match for Junior Dos Santos.
But do you know who it was? Chris Jericho and Jake Hager, Guevara’s Inner Circle teammates, that’s who.
The duo cleared the ring, and when the Philly crowd finally finished chanting “Judas,” a match was made for Saturday night of October 16. Dynamite. Not only will Dos Santos make his professional wrestling debut, but Dan Lambert’s back will be watched at ringside by BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal.
