A few minutes after announcing his departure from OpTic Gaming, Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez revealed that he had joined his other North American organization of esports, NRG.
In a touching video, H3CZ explained his reason for continuing with another company, citing that he never wanted to lose touch with his audience and that he would continue to produce content.
"At no time did I think you did not have my back," he said.
H3CZ will become NRG's co-CEO alongside current CEO and founder Andy Miller.
After more than 13 years with OpTic, H3CZ will join a new team. He will likely participate in the recent acquisition of the NRG franchise in Chicago for the next Call of Duty league.
According to rumors, H3CZ could bring Matthew "FORMAL", Piper and Seth "Scump" Abner, at the head of the new formation. In addition, Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson, Peirce "Gunless" Hillman and Dylan "Envoy" Hannon could be the last three to join the franchise, according to Intel CDL.
Fans can look forward to Chicago vs Dallas in the future Call of Duty Franchise league, because this match is reminiscent of "eclassico" between EnVy and OpTic Gaming.
