In a joint statement of OpTic Gaming and Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez, the former CEO revealed that he was leaving his position within the organization to pursue new ventures independent.

According to the statement, H3CZ has been offered a position within the organization, but he refused. This position would likely have played a limited role within the organization, unlike his previous position as CEO.

OpTic Gaming was created in 2006. Ryan "J" Musselman has awarded the role of owner to H3CZ, who will return to the organization later about the takeover of Infinite Esports & Entertainment in 2017.

OpTic Gaming is geared towards a corporate direction. On June 12, the Immortals Gaming Club acquired Infinite Esports & Entertainment. This purchase would allow OpTic to move away from many sports, including Overwatch and CS: GO, in which Immortals already had teams.

In July, OpTic Gaming bought a franchise spot in the next Call of Duty League. Although the rumor that H3CZ could have been involved in this team was successful, this was not the case.

H3CZ is one of the leading figures of the esport and could come back with a new team. As Call of Duty That's where he started, he could be involved in a franchise within the new franchise league.
