An old tweet from Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner resurfaced on Thursday more than a week before Tom Brady made his 10th Super Bowl appearance as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Warner, who lost to Tom Brady in the Super Bowl in the 2001 season, wrote the tweet in December 2017, which could have been Brady’s last season. The New England Patriots then lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in a thrilling Super Bowl later that season.

Warner tweeted: “Walking over his son doing his homework – saw an article on #TomBrady on computer:

“Me: What are you doing a project on Tom Brady?

“Him: No, by writing an article on” Best QB of all time “!!!!

BRUCE ARIANS TALKS ABOUT TOM BRADY’S PURSUIT BY BUCS LAST YEAR: ‘YOU CAN’T REACH A HOME RACE IF YOU CAN’T FOR ONE’

“#IGetIt #ButShotToTheHeart #InMyOwnHome”

Warner was stunned that the tweet got more traction on Thursday.

“I don’t know why but a number of people have contacted me about this 4 year old tweet … funny thing is it’s even MORE true now … @TomBrady = (bigger) GOAT . “

The tweets further illustrate Brady’s greatness. Brady has been playing at a very high level for a very long time and the number of Super Bowls he has won is truly amazing. He’s won more than veterans Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees – whom he just beat in this year’s playoffs at the age of 43.
