Carrie Underwood just gave fans another Christmas present.

After releasing her first Christmas album, “My Gift,” in September, the country superstar has now released a wintery music video of her big collaboration with John Legend, “Good Morning America” reported.

Not to be confused with the Leonard Cohen classic, “Hallelujah” is a new song co-written by Legend. He suggested the song to Underwood while she was deep in the process of creating the album, Wide Open Country reported.

“He kind of sent it to us at the end,” Underwood said, according to Wide Open Country. “It was like, ‘Well, I love the song. I feel like it’s a puzzle piece that I didn’t know was missing, but now that I’ve heard it, I have to have it. And so we just put back the question, “Thanks for sending, do you want to sing a part with me too?”

The musicians recorded the song separately because of the pandemic, according to Deseret News. The music video debuted worldwide on Thursday (you can watch the video here).

The official clip will air on YouTube on Friday night at 10 p.m. KST.

Underwood’s Christmas album also features a duet of “Little Drummer Boy” with his 5-year-old son Isaiah, according to the Deseret News.

The former American Idol winner will continue to spread Christmas cheer on November 25, when she performs with Josh Groban on the iHeart Radio Holiday special.
