Universal and Blumhouse are releasing the final trailer for Halloween Kills, with Michael Myers unleashing hell on Season of the Witch.

The Universal Pictures Final Trailer Halloween kills has finally arrived.

The trailer begins with two children telling a woman (Kyle Richards’ Lindsey Wallace) about a man wearing a creepy white mask playing hide and seek with them. This man, of course, is Michael Myers. Later in the trailer, there are various nods to the much-maligned Halloween III: Season of the Witch, first with Michael showing off one of the masks from that film covered in blood as he attacks a family. The family is later found dead in a playground wearing skull and pumpkin masks.

Halloween kills is the sequel to 2018 Halloween, which was a soft reboot / sequel to the all-ignoring franchise after the 1978 flagship film. However, while Halloween has received wide critical acclaim, Halloween kills turns out to be much more confrontational in his early reviews.

“What we were seeing in the land of power, raging voices, large groups of people coming together enraged by the circumstances is what the movie is all about,” franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis explained. in November 2020. “The movie is about a crowd. And so it’s very interesting because it addresses what happens when a trauma infects an entire community. And we see it everywhere with the Black Lives Matter movement. We see it in action and ‘Halloween kills‘strangely enough, got entangled on that, went on, it was written before it happened, but then of course, so when you see it, it’s a bubbling group of people moving through the ‘story as a big, angry band, it’s really, really, really intense. It’s a masterpiece.”

Originally slated for full theatrical release, Universal recently announced that Halloween kills will premiere in both theaters and Peacock Day and Date on October 15th.
