Halo Boss confirms Halo Infinite will be launched on Xbox One and PC despite rumors

While Microsoft is finally ready to talk about Halo Infinite at E3 this year, fans are naturally enthusiastic and excited to learn more about the upcoming development of Halo. A rumor about the game going around is that Halo Infinite will be a "next-gen" game that skips Xbox One.

That will not happen, says Frank O. Connor, director of franchise development at Halo. In response to a person on Twitter who mentioned this rumor, O Connor said, "I do not know what leak you're talking about, but Halo Infinite will be released for Xbox One and appropriately specified PCs."

The rumor in question could be based on the comments of the famous insider Microsoft, Brad Sams. He recently said on his show on YouTube that Microsoft was focusing on the presentation of Infinite's engine, SlipSpace, at E3 last year and not on the game because the game itself was even looked … too handsome.

"They did not want to show any part of the game because it seemed pretty good to them and they did not want the things of the current generation to look bad," said Sams.
