Halo co-creator teases a new sci-fi shooter, Disintegration

Disintegration is a new first-person sci-fi shooter from V1 Interactive, the independent development studio co-founded by Marcus Lehto, former Bungie Creative Director and co-creator of the Halo Universe. A teaser of the game, revealed on Thursday, promises more details on the upcoming title at Gamescom in August.

The teaser does not offer much to do, except a moody music and a glimpse of what appears to be a heavily armed spaceship or personal spaceship.

A "complete revelation" of Disintegration is scheduled for August 19 at Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley. Gamescom 2019 will take place from August 20th to 24th in Cologne, Germany.

Private Division, the independent label of Take-Two, publishes Disintegration The private division and V1 Interactive announced their partnership in December 2017. The private division will also publish Patrice Désilets and Panache Digital Games' Ancestors: The odyssey of the man and Obsidian Entertainment The outer worlds.

Lehto co-founded V1 Interactive in 2014 after a 15-year career at Bungie, where he worked as an art director on Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3and creative director on Halo: Reach.
