Halo: The PC Master Chief goes to Steam and Windows 10

The day is finally here – Halo arrives on PC. Microsoft announced for the first time its first PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, describing its plans to migrate its flagship sniper franchise to Steam and the integrated Microsoft Windows 10 Store.

Unveiled at its Inside Xbox concert in March, the six-piece compilation extends beyond the show and contains the best of Halo, almost two decades old. The "first class" package will be launched in 2019 and will include Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. A newly announced addition of six is ​​also planned, reviving the legendary farewell of Bungie for 2010 at the franchise, Halo: Reach.

Microsoft remains rigorous about the details, not describing the publication or pricing dates for Halo: The Master Chief. However, he commits to a phased deployment for the year, "each title releasing one by one in time". Microsoft plans to launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC "later this year," starting with Halo: Reach. In chronological order, Halo: Combat Evolved will follow, before the rest of the series.
