The iPad Pro 2019 may be at your fingertips. AppleInsider checks a mockup, compares it to the 2018 Pro iPad and examines the rumors that we've seen it to date.

Thanks to the famous Apple Escape Sonny Dickson, AppleInsider managed to get hold of a realistic model of the supposed iPad Pro 2019, in 12.9 inch format.

We compared the model to our existing 12.9 inch iPad to see what we could still learn before the presumed launch of October.

On the front, the iPad Pro 2019 looks identical to the existing model. Both have the same dimensions, the glasses and the True Depth camera system.

Unlike the iPhone 11, it seems that the iPad Pro keeps the same thickness this year if we believe this model.

We compared each side of the iPad Pro without any changes being noted. The lower part still contains two speakers flanking the USB-C port, the upper part has a second set of speakers, a microphone and the sleep / wake button. On the right, the charger volume and the 2nd generation Apple Pencil Charger. On the left, only one microphone.

The back is largely the same – other than the shock of the camera. The Apple logo is centered and the Smart Connector is at the bottom. The mock-up does not contain any external regulatory information below the "iPad" mark, which could be due to the fact that it's a mock-up or that Apple could abandon it – something that's just right. they have done with more and more products.

Most notable in the model is the three-camera configuration located at the back.

We heard about the rumor that the iPad Pro would win the same three cameras as the iPhone 11 Pro, one of the only rumors we've heard in a credible way.

This includes ultra-wide, wide and TV lenses. Many have wondered why Apple would install such a camera system on a tablet, but these lenses are not just for taking pictures.

Apple has put a special emphasis on augmented reality and a wide-angle lens and improved cameras would lend themselves to that goal. Further relying on this, RA experiences can be superior on a tablet compared to an iPhone.

We noticed on the model that the new square hump of the camera has two microphones, while the existing iPad Pro camera has only one microphone underneath. It may be too fine a detail to be known – or reproduced in a model – on this point.

Apart from the little we could get from the new speaker, rumors are scarce on the new iPad Pro. We expect that they contain a more powerful variant of the A13 Bionic processor from the iPhone 11, as was the case a few years ago, and a rumor from Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that the IPad Pro 2020 will have improved antenna technology and 5G by 2021, but nothing else about it. iteration of the year.
