Hank Aaron died of natural causes, COVID-19 vaccine not a factor, officials say

Officials DO NOT believe COVID-19 vaccination played a role in Hank Aarondeath based on a preliminary investigation – this according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The 86-year-old MLB legend and his wife received the first of 2 doses of the vaccine at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta on January 4. Hank died a few weeks later on January 22.

Some feared the vaccine may have been a factor the slugger’s death – but a representative of the FCME says TMZ Sports it appears that Hank died of natural causes unrelated to the COVID vaccine.

As we previously reported, Hank – along with other prominent black leaders – decided to get the shot in front of the media in hopes of showing other members of the community that the vaccine is safe.

One of the people who got vaccinated with Aaron is Ambassador Andrew Young – who said KSDK in Atlanta the MLB legend “never had a reaction” to the shot before his death.

“I spoke to the guy who was his driver,” Young told KSDK… “And I said,“ Has Hank felt any discomfort or a problem the last few days? “And he said, ‘No'”

We’re told Aaron’s primary doctor will eventually sign the cause of death on Hank’s death certificate – but so far there doesn’t appear to be any evidence showing a link to the COVID vaccine.

Aaron – one of the greatest baseball players of all time – was thrilled with the vaccine in the days after the shot … telling AP, “[It] makes me feel wonderful. I have no qualms about it. “

“I’m proud enough of myself to do something like this. … It’s just a little thing that can help millions of people in this country.”
