Hannity: Either “Milley is a dangerous traitor” or Woodward, Costa are “liars”

Sean Hannity said if the allegations made by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Robert Costa were true and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley assured People’s Liberation Army General Li Zuocheng that he would warn Beijing of a US nuclear attack, the top military officer is a “dangerous traitor” Wednesday on “Hannity”.

On “Hannity,” the host read the relevant excerpt from Woodward and Costa, from Milley, speaking to Li: “If we’re going to attack, I’ll call you ahead.”

“Either that line is wrong and Woodward and Costa’s reports are nothing but a total lie from BS, or it would mean that the only option I see is that Milley would be a traitor. I don’t see any ground. agreement here. It’s one way or the other, “Hannity said.

Furthering their reporting on Milley, Hannity said the book alleges Milley has joined the third-largest lawmaker in the presidency to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential powers.

“Shortly after receiving a phone call from a hyperventilating Nancy Pelosi demanding that nuclear football be taken away from President Trump,” Hannity said. “General Milley, according to this book, summoned senior officers and informed them that he must be involved in any decision to launch nuclear weapons.”

The host asked if Milley was “in collusion” with Pelosi to usurp the constitutional authority of the White House.

If it did, that would be the true definition of “insurgency” – something Hannity noted Democrats like to talk about about Trump and his supporters.

“It’s the Democrats’ favorite word,” he said. “[But] our constitution is clear. It empowers the president and the president alone with that power and authority over our military. No constitutional authority is granted to the chairman of the joint chiefs. “

Hannity called on Congress to appoint a special commission to investigate the veracity of the book’s claims, adding that until chopped up, Milley should be put on administrative leave.

If that were to happen, the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, USAF General John Earl Hyten, would take the lead role in the interim.

“[O]One of two things is true: Milley is a dangerous traitor who can put our country in grave danger or Woodward and Costa are liars, ”Hannity said.
