Democrats’ efforts to convict former President Trump in the Senate died when they arrived, Sean Hannity said on Tuesday.
Earlier today, the Senate voted 55-45 to end debate on Senator Rand Paul’s point of order, arguing that the impeachment trial is unconstitutional now that Trump has been removed from office. Most Republican senators have found a post-presidential impeachment unconstitutional, but “irrational psychotic rage” from the left continues to fuel Democrats’ efforts, the host of “Hannity” said.
“This latest Democratic ‘Schiff-show’ indictment is now officially dead in the water. It’s over,” said the host. “The Senate trial will go as planned, but Democrats have nowhere near what the two-thirds supermajority would be needed to convict.”

Hannity said he was convinced “Donald Trump will be acquitted, and what we will see is another colossal waste of time with a predetermined result.”
The procedure will go ahead, but the indictment will be denounced as nothing more than a “show trial based on [the] the psychotic irrational rage of the radical left and cowardly Democrats in total fear and panic to stand up against their base, ”Hannity said.
