Penny Hardaway and Memphis landed their third Impact rookie in the four-day span Monday night, while Rejean "Boogie" Ellis, one of the first 40 recruits, is committed to the Tigers .
Ellis, who signed on to Duke last November, was released from his letter of intent to the Blue Devils on May 2nd. A week later, Ellis was on his way to Memphis – who had become the favorite shortly after his disengagement from Duke.

Ellis, who played at Mission Bay High School (California), was one of the five best-guarded elders in the 2019 category. Ellis scored an average of 23.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Canadian soldiers. Oakland at the July Nike Peach Jam, shooting 57.5% over a distance of 3 points over the seven games.
Lester Quinones, the guardian of the 100th ESPN, announced Friday in Memphis that Rayjon Tucker, a former graduate of Little Rock, was engaged in front of the Tigers on Saturday. Tucker was ranked # 2 in the ranking of ESPN graduates transfers.
With Ellis, Quinones and Tucker now in the fold, Memphis has one of the best recruiting classes in the country. The three join a group led by prospect number 1, James Wiseman, whom Hardaway coached on the grassroots and high school football circuits. Five-star forward D. Jeffries (# 25), four-star center Malcolm Dandridge (# 100) and four-star local goalkeeper Damian Baugh complete the group.
Hardaway and the Tigers are still in the composition of elite guard RJ Hampton (No. 5) and five-star attackers Precious Achiuwa (No. 17) and Trendon Watford (No. 19).
