Prince Harry and Prince William plan to stand ‘side by side’ at a memorial they commissioned for their mother, Princess Diana, this summer – despite tensions between the brothers sparked by the royal race scandal, was revealed on Friday.

In a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, Prince Harry said he faced racist comments after he started dating Markle and his father Prince Charles stopped taking his calls. He also clarified that he and Prince William were on “different paths”.
But despite spitting out from the royal family, Prince Harry has vowed to return to the UK from California this summer for the planned unveiling of a memorial statue he helped commission for his mother.
The statue was commissioned by Prince Harry and Prince William in 2017 in honor of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. It will be unveiled on the occasion of what would have been its 60th birthday.
Princess Diana died with her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, on August 31, 1997, when their car crashed in Paris, France.
