NEW YORK (AP) – Harry Brant, a booming model and son of supermodel Stephanie Seymour and publisher Peter M. Brant, has died. He was 24 years old.
Young Brant died of an accidental overdose on Sunday, his family said in a statement to the New York Times, saying “his life has been cut short by this devastating disease.
“He was a creative, loving and powerful soul who lit the hearts of so many,” the statement said. “She was really a beautiful person inside and out.”
Brant had appeared in Italian Vogue and in campaigns for the Balmain fashion house. He had previously released a unisex makeup line with his brother – Peter Brant, Jr. – for MAC cosmetics.
“I think people can certainly express themselves in a great way through makeup, because it’s about whimsy and turning into someone that you aren’t necessarily on a daily basis, so you can sort of. escape for a night with this new personal character. “Brant told W magazine in 2016.” That’s what I’ve always done. “
His parents told The Times he planned to enter rehab this year and hoped to play a role in the creative side of Interview magazine, which his father publishes.
“He’s accomplished a lot in his 24 years, but we’ll never get to see what more Harry could have done,” the family statement read.
