“Harry & Meghan: Escapeing the Palace” Trailer, Lifetime Premiere Date

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex take on the British monarchy in new trailer for Harry and Meghan: escape from the palace, the third installment of Lifetime’s film trilogy about the royal couple.

Premiering on Monday September 6th at 8 / 7c, the film “explores what really happened inside the palace that led Harry (played by The punisherby Jordan Dean) and Meghan (She must have it‘s Sydney Morton) to leave everything behind to create a future for themselves and that of their son Archie, ā€¯according to the official synopsis.

Building on shocking revelations from the couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey (which is recreated in the trailer above), Escape from the palace details “Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that ‘The Firm’ does not defend them against attacks from the press and Harry’s fear that history will repeat itself and that he will not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that may have contributed to his mother’s untimely death.

The film also explores the “dynamic between Will and Harry, Kate and Meghan, and Harry with Will and Charles, which led to the ultimate severing of royal ties”.

The first of Escape from the palace will be preceded by reminder broadcasts of the original films Guillaume and Kate (at 1 pm), Harry and Meghan: a royal romance (at 3 p.m.) and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal (at 5.30 p.m.).
