Harvey Weinstein very ill, COVID probable

Harvey Weinstein is isolated with a temperature of 101 degrees, and doctors believe he has COVID … TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources with first-hand knowledge tell TMZ … Weinstein “does poorly” with various health issues … some of which point to coronavirus infection.

Our sources say Weinstein was tested Tuesday morning and doctors are awaiting the results, but they are convinced enough that he has COVID to have placed him in isolation for 72 hours.

We are told that if the test comes back positive, which they predict, he will be transferred to the prison hospital.

Our sources say Weinstein has various health issues that complicate his current illness. The sources are clear … he has various very serious symptoms.

There have been reports Weinstein had coronavirus in March, but our sources say he was never officially diagnosed.

The sources say Weinstein’s current battle is anything but a mild case … we’re told given his general health, age and current illness – he’s at extreme risk.

You will remember … Weinstein was rushed to hospital shortly after his trial earlier this year when he complained of chest pain. And, of course, he came to court every day with a walker in his hand due to chronic back problems he says he had suffered from in recent years.
