Probably a good 15 percent of all entertainment ever created is devoted to dissecting various moments in Princess Diana’s life and the inner workings of her mind. But I’m now convinced no one understands her better than Kristen Stewart, who got involved in an LA Times interview this week that she commune with the ghost of Diana herself.
Stewart plays Diana in drama directed by Pablo Larraín Spencer, who follows the princess for the three days leading up to her decision to divorce Prince Charles. Apparently she does it very well – and I’m not surprised, given this revelation.
“I felt scary and spiritual feelings while making this movie,” she said when asked if she had ever had paranormal encounters. “I felt like there were times when I sort of got approval.” She continued: “[Diana] I felt so alive… there were times my body and mind forgot that she was dead. In other words: Kristen Stewart consulted Princess Diana’s ghost while playing her.
Stewart also said Diana had “a wildcat feel” and spoke of profuse sweating at a dance party after the film’s Venice premiere, which made her the People’s Princess. If she hasn’t spent time with Di’s ghost, I don’t know who did.
