Journalist Noah Berlatsky has taken on haters who have flooded social media websites with messages against Meghan Markle for writing an article to “tell the world about her miscarriage”.
Speaking to Twitter, Berlastky shared screenshots of the tweets against the Duchess of Sussex a day after his article was published by The New York Times.
“The treatment of Meghan Markle is one of those very clear illustrations that racism cannot be reduced to class,” Berlatsky wrote, commenting on a tweet defending Meghan.
“Watch out looking for ****,” wrote one user, commenting on a Daily Mail story about Meghan’s NYT article.
Another user wrote: “I’m sorry but nobody writes in this highly descriptive way if they really just lost a child. Either Meghan Markle is truly a demon lacking in soul and all human emotion or that was written by one of his obedient collaborators. “
Reacting to the former actress’ essay, a Twitter user said: “[Meghan Markle]… many of us have had a miscarriage. it doesn’t have to be F ****** headlines. I do not care. “
