Just in case you’re still waiting for confirmation, it looks like it’s official: Hailee Steinfeld is part of the Hawk Eye throw away. Steinfeld has reportedly been playing Kate Bishop for quite some time now, but there has been virtually no confirmation. In fact, at one point, Steinfeld appeared to categorically deny that she even appeared on the show. But the other day, Steinfeld was spotted on the Hawk Eye put in character, acting alongside the star Jeremy renner. And now, a new report from Variety confirms that she’s part of the cast – and that she’s got company. Florence pugh, which will appear in Black Widow, will appear on Hawk Eye as well as. And it will be the same Vera Farmiga, You better call Saulof Tony Dalton, and more.
The variety has the scoop on the Hawk Eye throw away. Jeremy Renner is, of course, back as Clint Barton / Hawkeye. And he’s joined by Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh, From fees, Tony Dalton, Alaqua cox, and Dent McClarnon. Steinfeld plays fan favorite Kate Bishop, while Pugh reprise her role as Yelena Belova, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow sister. Pugh makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Black Widow movie, and by all accounts, this movie will have Pugh’s Yelena Belova assuming the Black Window mantle (since Johansson’s Black Widow died in Avengers: Endgame).
Farmiga will play Eleanor Bishop, mother of Kate Bishop; Fee is “Kazi, possibly short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, known to Marvel fans as the Mercenary Villain Clown;” Dalton plays “Jack Duquesne, more than likely a version of the Marvel character Jacques Duquesne or Swordsman;” Cox is “Maya Lopez, real name of Marvel character Echo, a deaf Native American who is able to perfectly copy another person’s movements, making her a formidable fighter;” and McClarnon plays “William Lopez, possibly a version of Maya Willie’s ‘Crazy Horse’ Lincoln father from the comics.”
It’s a pretty damn solid cast. Pugh is still awesome, as is Farmiga. I ignored Dalton until I saw him You better call Saul, and his work is solid there. And I’m still happy to see McClarnon, who appeared on Westworld, Fargo, and in the movie Doctor Sleep.
the Hawk Eye The series comes from creator Jonathan Igla, with Igla as lead writer and Bert & Bertie and Rhys Thomas directing. They say the show resumes after Avengers: Endgame, and Hawkeye will train Kate Bishop to take over as the new Hawkeye. This is one of many Marvel Disney + shows on the horizon, including WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki, which are all slated for release in 2021. Then there are future shows like She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon knight.
