The star, whose boyfriend Brian Hickerson was arrested on charges of domestic violence in May, has been shown perfectly happy with his brother.
The couple smiled and gathered faces as they walked.
"Hayden and Zach have been friends for a while," a source told PEOPLE on Wednesday.

"Hayden is optimistic and is looking forward to a great year," a source close to Panettiere told PEOPLE last month.
The source said Hayden planned to celebrate her big day with a discreet birthday dinner with her closest friends, and that she will mark the occasion this month seeing her daughter Kaya, 4 years old.
Kaya lives in Ukraine with Hayden's former professional boxer, Wladimir Klitschko.
Since the conclusion of Nashville last summer, Hayden has taken a break from her acting job to focus on her personal life.
Shortly after her split from Wladimir, which she attended from 2009 to 2011, and from 2013 to last year, Hayden enlisted with future actor Hickerson, who met with his family last October.
However, the couple has been the victim of many altercations since, including at least one that became violent when the cops were involved in May.
VERY optimistic: "Hayden is optimistic and is looking forward to an excellent year," a source close to Panettiere told PEOPLE last month.

One of Panettiere's lawyers confirmed to People that the actress was not in touch with Hickerson recently, but one source said the relationship was still a source of concern for Hayden's family.
If found guilty, Hickerson could spend up to four years in prison.
