HBO Max just paid George RR Martin a lot of Moolah to develop more TV projects, but what about the winter winds?

I still don’t understand how there are still people who have never read the A song of ice and fire series or saw the adaptation of the HBO series Game Of Thrones, but even if you fall into that category, there’s still a good chance you will know the whole “George RR Martin Apparently Waiting For Centuries To Release A Book” situation. In fact, it’s now been a decade since the release of the most recent novel in the series. This is not to say, however, that there are no developments in Game Of Thrones universe. Recently there have been a ton of updates for the upcoming book and future HBO and HBO Max projects related to the series and now HBO has shelled out a ton of money for Martin to keep developing new content in streaming, but what about the long-awaited Winter winds novel?
