For years it was known simply as the Snyder Cut. Last summer it was then announced as Justice League by Zack Snyder. But now the final product coming to HBO Max in March 2021 has been officially titled Justice League: Director’s Cup.
The network unveiled the new moniker in a promotional video posted to Twitter that shows its impressive lineup for 2021, and you can check it out below.

Perhaps recklessly they drove with the terrible Wonder Woman 1984, but the following should pick up from there. Shows like The Nevers, Easttown Mare, Euphoria, Insecurity, Succession, Tiger and the eagerly awaited friends the reunion will undoubtedly attract subscribers by the hundreds of thousands, and the video ends with the unveiling of the logo of the next The iron Throne spin off Dragon house, which could rekindle interest in the franchise after the widely criticized final season.
Beyond that, there is the promise of Warner Bros. ‘biggest movies released on the service the same day they debuted in theaters, meaning we’ll be enjoying blockbusters like The Matrix 4, Dune, Godzilla vs. Kong and The suicide squad without leaving the comfort of our homes. There are also reports that WB is developing films specifically for HBO Max, with Bat girl and Static shock projects apparently in preparation.
Of course, Justice League: Director’s Cup will be a good test to see if the streaming site can really penetrate this busy market. Whether you’re a Zack Snyder fan or not, this director’s cut has generated a ton of publicity and will become a major talking point in March 2021. Hell, if this turns out to be a real hit, we might even see Snyder get it. to conclude his epic story of Darkseid invading Earth and fighting him. One thing’s for sure, and that’s if you want to keep up with pop culture next year, you’re going to have to juggle multiple subscriptions at once.
