Years after word first fell, LeBron James would be leading a Space jam Following this, fans get their first look at the return of Bugs Bunny and the Tune Squad.
HBO Max shared the first official music video for the film (officially titled Space Jam: a new legacy) in a film montage released in 2021.
The first images show Bugs and LeBron reacting in horror as a monster (or MonStar) shines in front of them in a massive column of light.
Although many long-awaited blockbusters and films were toppled by the coronavirus pandemic, Space Jam 2 was able to complete filming in 2019. Audio from that final day showed that James was absolutely thrilled to be playing the role once occupied by Michael Jordan. .
