Hearthstone: new maps and updated Hall Of Fame revealed

home is about to take advantage of radical changes in the preparation of the next season of the content of the Year of the Dragon.

First, the next batch of home Hall of Fame cards include surprise additions by Genn and Baku. This is the first time that cards are replaced with a rotation ahead of schedule. As home Players know, however, that these two cards have created a problem in the game in terms of balance. In simple terms, they are just too good and the way they force players to build their decks around odd and even cards has limited the players' incentive to create new inventive decks. Other cards using the odd / even system (Black Cat, Gloom Stag, Glitter Moth and Murkspark Eel) will also be sent to the Hall of Fame.

Doomguard, Naturlize and Divine Favor join these Hall of Fame cards. There are really no surprises in this composition, but it is worth noting that some of the most popular and powerful classic cards (including Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkins) will remain in Standard Mode for another year.

homeArena mode will also benefit from refreshment. The Arena drafts will consist of six extension cards (which will always include the most recent expansion). Exact extensions will change every two months and will include standard and wild versions. In addition to that, the victories on Arena will soon be taken into account to get a portrait of the hero in gold. However, this change will only be implemented when the year of the dragon begins in April, along with the new version of the extension.

Hearthstone also offers a new solo mode with the release of the new extension. Blizzard does not share the details for the moment, but these new modes will follow the old adventure format (that is, you will have to complete different challenges wings to progress). The first wing will be free, but having them all five will slow you down. The tradeoff is that you will get a lot more content, a card back and a pack containing all-gold cards. You can find out more about this mode here.

At the top of the list of changes is a better IAA deck building system, a storytelling system throughout the season and a random card back generator. All these updates will be published in the next edition. home expansion in April.
