Lee Meason, of Springville, Utah, was filmed exclaiming “Are you kidding me? as he tried on the rose-colored glasses and was surprised to see colors and shades he had never seen before.
“I see different things from what I used to do! He told his family members, looking around the room and looking at the shirt he was wearing.

The video begins with the 80-year-old sitting in an armchair opening a box.
“Colored tech glasses,” he said, with a puzzled smile on his face as he lifted the lid.
A woman’s voice off camera is heard saying: “Yes, I remembered”.
A male voice is heard: “ They’re supposed to be pretty cool. Open them, try them.
Meason then takes the rose-colored glasses out of the box and passes them to someone nearby, saying “wow”.
He remarks that he “ could go fly a jet ” with the aviator-style pink shades as his family tells him “ they look cool ”.
Meason takes the glasses and puts them on.
He looks around in shock for a few seconds before saying “are you kidding me?” as he sees color for the first time through the special glasses.

Meason looks around the room in astonishment.
“Look at that lamp over there,” the woman said.
“Yeah, I didn’t know it was like that! exclaims Meason.
Delighted family members say they now have to ‘teach her about colors’ as they start showing things off camera and telling her what color they are.
‘I hope you are joking? Where the hell did you find those ‘Meason exclaims again about glasses, as they all laugh happily and he keeps saying’ wow ‘and’ ahh ‘.
The 80-year-old tries to figure it all out, looking around the room and the ceiling before looking at his own arm and patterned green shirt.
Meason looks at book with different colors after elated family members say they now need to ‘teach him colors’

Meason replies: “They do! They do! I see different things from what I did before.
The 80-year-old son wrote on Facebook that the glasses were a Christmas present from the grandchildren.
