Heather Morris responded to the reaction after she deemed a Glee fan post “ offensive ” for covering Mark Salling’s face with an emoji.
Kevin McHale first retweeted a message celebrating the 10th anniversary of the episode of A Very Glee Christmas.
Morris was not happy with the tribute and was left to defend her position after fans pointed out that Salling pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, but committed suicide in 2018 before he could be sentenced.

“ Ten years ago today ‘A Very Merry Christmas’ aired, ” the fan wrote with a heart emoji. “ Artie has his magic legs, we all fell in love with Coach Beiste and Brittany has rekindled the magic of Christmas for everyone. ”
Heather was quick to notice Mark’s face blurred by a vomiting emoji and wrote: ‘The puke face on Mark’s face is offensive. ”
She played the role of cheerleader Brittany Pierce on the popular show that aired from 2009 to 2015.

Fans attacked Morris for defending someone who had been charged with possession of child pornography, but Heather responded via Twitter on Friday morning.
“I don’t feel the need to justify something because it’s better not to say something. All of you who have a lot to say, I understand, I understand you … there are unforgivable things. But this holiday season, among ALL holiday seasons, is AMAZING for many of us, ” she tweeted.

Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson, lost his battle with drug addiction and died of a drug overdose in 2013.
“While I don’t want to have to say all of this, it is true,” she added. “ So THANK YOU for treating me with such disrespect and meanness for such a time that I cannot go a day without having my eyes fixed on the loss of my entire Glee family … thank you. ”
