Helen Mirren is now ready to enchant as the hostess of the Harry Potter: Tournament Of Houses quiz from Hogwarts.

The English actress, 76, will help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the magical film franchise with the previously announced four-part competition.

“I knew that someday I would have a role in Harry Potter, and I’m thrilled to be part of the film’s 20th anniversary celebration,” Mirren told The Hollywood Reporter..

“The films have inspired such enchantment and wonder for so many of us, and it will be such a treat to rekindle that magic for the countless fans who continue to revel in this spellbinding world.”

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Houses Tournament, which was announced in May, will air on Cartoon Network and TBS before heading to HBO Max.

The show will see HP fans compete for the coveted title of House Cup champion.

The release date has yet to be announced, but it will hopefully coincide with the anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, released on November 4, 2001.

Things were still in their infancy, according to sources, who said the studio was “engaged in several conversations with potential writers exploring various ideas that would bring the beloved property to television.”

The report also revealed: “Sources say general ideas were discussed in the exploratory meetings at an early stage.”

But if there is an HP project, the creators are keeping their lips sealed for now.

“There is no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform,” said HBO Max and Warner Bros. at THR in January.
