“Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” receives Xbox Series X / S surprise patch

Ninja Theory has released an Xbox Series X / S optimization patch for , three years after the action-adventure game arrived on Xbox One. In addition to the improved visuals, you can enjoy DirectX ray tracing during your next game. A PC update is also in the works, but there are currently no plans for a PlayStation 5 performance fix.

Performance mode supports dynamic resolution up to 1080p with a maximum frame rate of 120 on the Xbox Series X and Full HD at 60 fps on the Xbox Series S. Resolution mode provides visuals dynamic up to 4K on the X-series at 60 fps, and up to 1440p at 30 fps on the S-series. Rich mode enables ray tracing on both consoles at 30 fps, with dynamic resolution up to 4K on the X series and Full HD on the S series. Ninja Theory it has updated details, materials and particles, and there is now a chapter selection option.

The patch arrives before , which will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. The original game debuted on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2017 before releasing on Xbox One the following March. Microsoft to the Xbox Game Studios portfolio in 2018.

There is no confirmed exit window yet. Microsoft is promising updates on some Xbox Game Studios titles at the end of the month, so maybe we’ll find more details then.
