Google is about to remove a handful of apps and services between March 12 and April 2.
The old Google Allo email application is the first thing to do. The application was launched in 2016 with the integration of Google Assistant as a competitor of iMessage. The closure will take place on March 12th.
Inbox, Google's secondary email application, will also be closed in March, but no date has been set for users to expect.
Goo.gl, Google's URL shortener, will be shut down on March 30th. Google has blocked this site from new users in 2018, according to 9to5Google, but by the end of March no one will have access to it anymore.
Google+, the search giant's social network, was swept away by Google's Spring Cleanup, which was closed on April 2nd.
Google has replaced two of these apps with updated Gmail and Android messages. That said, the company has made no public effort to replace Google+ and its URL shortener.
