Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Tomorrow’s Winter Update Stream For Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

[ad_1]

The Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition winter update stream will take place on the Capcom Fighters Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET tomorrow. In a new audio clip featuring Dan’s voice, we were promised “juicy info” about Street Fighter 5 and Dan Hibiki as a playable character.

We have confirmation that Street Fighter 5 Combat Director Ryuichi “Woshige” Shigeno will also be coming to speak about Rose, Season 5 balance changes, and new “mechanics” (note the “s”). It looks like it will be a pretty long stream.

Based on what was shown during the Fighting EX Layer Garuda costume trailer, we have reason to believe that Akuma could be hit by a nerf. It looks like his lightweight Hurricane Kick will no longer be able to go under the opponents as they are being juggled.

As of yet, we don’t have official confirmation on who the fifth and final character in Season 5 is, but Capcom seems to be hinting at Eleven, a first prototype of Twelve from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Eleven was seen during the story of Urien’s prologue and was reportedly reused as raw material by Kolin to resurrect Nash. In Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Twelve was known to have excellent air mobility and the ability to transform into other fighters.

Of course, anything revealed tomorrow during Capcom’s Winter Update will be covered here on EventHubs. Be sure to tune in with us tomorrow at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET to see it all as it happens live.
