Here’s how the new Elden Ring trailer will likely premiere on March 23

Currently, there are two big rumors surrounding the new Elden Ring trailer and Microsoft’s March 2021 event. Don’t you think they could be related to each other?

UPDATE: Despite what we thought were solid rumors, it looks like it turned out to be wrong. Xbox Marketing Manager Aaron Greenberg shared the following tweet:

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard or seen anything official about Elden ring, but we are receiving positive signals from various sources that the anticipation will finally be over on March 23 of this year. Elden ring a new trailer could be shown at a possible Microsoft event later in March. If you don’t believe it yet, let me explain it to you.

Microsoft’s next Xbox showcase will likely go live on March 23

Previously, we’ve heard rumors from reputable sources like Jeff Grubb that Microsoft is planning a new Xbox Games Showcase event for March 2021, where they will focus on upcoming games on the Xbox Series X | S and consoles, especially those in development at Bethesda and Zenimax studios. Days earlier, the rumor received stronger positive signals when Paul Thurrott claimed on his Twitter page that the event would go live on March 23, followed by a Windows-specific event some time later.

It’s been a while since the launch of the Xbox Series X consoles | S and the latest Xbox Games Showcase event, so it seems reasonable that an Xbox-focused presentation, even a brief one like the X0 series, is slated for later next month. Microsoft hasn’t spoken clearly about its Bethesda plans and plans so far, making the upcoming event a great place for Phil Spencer to share an update on Starfield and other projects underway on recently acquired studios.

Two well-known journalists have confirmed that we will be receiving something new on Elden Ring in March 2021

In a recent edition of the GamesBeat Decides podcast, Jeff Grubb revealed that he believes in something new about Elden ring will be released in March of this year. Now, hours earlier, Jason Schreier has also confirmed Grubb’s Sixth Sense on the new Elden Ring trailer and claimed the game will premiere relatively soon.

Two big announcements in March; They could be related, right?

The one and only trailer for Elden ring so far has been featured at the Microsoft event at E3 2019. Bandai Namco is the publisher behind From Software’s upcoming title and they seem to have a good relationship with the Redmondians. The editor also presented Scarlet Nexus, one of his projects planned for this year, in another Xbox games showcase in 2020. So it’s a good sign that Microsoft probably has a share of Elden ringmarketing and they won’t let the game’s new trailer slip through their hands, now that it’s slated to share in March 2021.

It is not yet a confirmed idea, but it is surely the closest we have ever been to a Elden ring trailer since its announcement in 2019.
